SPEEDPANEL® apprenticeships program and new apprentice

Speedpanel launches NEW Apprenticeships Program and welcomes new apprentice

Apprentice Ben Ryan (Left) & Maintenance Supervisor Peter Baldry (Right) at work in the maintenance department.

We’re pleased to welcome Apprentice Ben Ryan to the Speedpanel family. As part of our new apprenticeships program and working within our maintenance department, Ben joined Speedpanel earlier in the year and has now commenced a formal apprenticeship with us as a Fitter and Turner.

Ben Ryan – Speedpanel Apprentice Fitter and Turner.

Developing his skills under Speedpanel’s Maintenance Supervisor Peter Baldry, Ben will be working his way towards finishing his Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade at Swinburne University.  We hope that this is the first of many trade apprenticeships we are able to offer.

Speedpanel Apprentice Fitter and Turner Ben Ryan commented:

“I’m really enjoying the overall learning experience, culture and team environment here at Speedpanel. It’s a great opportunity for me to develop new skills and learn hands-on.”

Speedpanel’s General Manager Karen Hewett added:

“We’re really pleased to be offering apprenticeships at Speedpanel. Like others, we recognise the value an apprenticeship gives to young people like Ben, such as hands-on technical experience in the workplace while also undertaking additional technical study. It’s good for the industry, individual and company.”

Congratulations to Ben and we look forward to seeing him grow and develop within the organisation.
