Speedpanel Systems Pty Ltd advises that any Speedpanel system component that have been partially or fully submerged in floodwater should not be re-used and should be replaced. This applies to both installed and uninstalled components.
Why Replacement is Required:
Flood exposure introduces significant risks to the integrity and performance of Speedpanel products, including:
- Steel corrosion and potential chemical reactions due to contaminants present in floodwaters.
- Compromised core integrity, as water absorption may weaken the panel structure.
- Loss of product compliance and certification, as submerged components no longer meet Speedpanel’s strict quality and performance standards.
Due to these risks, any Speedpanel product or system component that has been exposed to floodwater is no longer covered under warranty. For full details, please review our warranty policy: https://speedpanel.com.au/warranty/.
What You Need to Do:
All affected Speedpanel components should be replaced to ensure compliance, safety, and long-term performance. If you are unsure whether your Speedpanel products are affected, please contact your local Speedpanel representative for guidance.
