RE: – SPEEDPANEL® Operations Update – 2021 – Snap Stage 4 Lockdown

Inline with our COVIDsafe plan, we would like to reassure our clients and partners that Speedpanel’s Victorian based manufacturing, dispatch and general business functions will at this stage remain open and operational during the snap 5-day lockdown announced today Friday 12th February 2021. All Victorian Speedpanel face-to-face meetings, site visits and scheduled works planned at our national head office in Bayswater between 11:59pm Friday the 12th until 12:00am Thursday the 18th are to be postponed, or where possible conducted via electronic means. i.e. Phone/Skype/Zoom/Facetime or equivalent.

Should any of our operations or functions be further impacted by the ongoing and evolving challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will do everything in our power to minimise disruptions to our clients and advise accordingly.

Our specification, technical and design team remain fully online and continue to be ready to work with you on your project design requirements.

Our business has taken further steps to continue to operate safely and has established and implemented a COVIDsafe plan, in line with the requirements and recommendations of state and federal authorities.

Should any of our operations or function be further impacted by the ongoing and evolving challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will do everything in our power to minimise disruptions to our clients and advise accordingly.

Greg Ballinger – COVID-19 Officer
Speedpanel has also appointed Greg Ballinger as our COVID-19 officer, tasked with overseeing our ongoing response to COVID-19. Staying up-to-date with the latest information provided from government bodies and our WHS regulator, Ballinger will regularly consult with Speedpanel employees on the risks of COVID-19 in the workplace and be the driver for ideas that help to eliminate, control and minimise associated risks.

RE: – Victorian site visits, installation reviews and face to face meetings.

Speedpanel would like to advise all Victorian clients and partners that in line with today’s announcements,  all Victorian Speedpanel related face-to-face meetings, site visits and scheduled works planned at our national head office in Bayswater after the 8th of July to be postponed, or where possible conducted via electronic means. i.e. Phone/Skype/Zoom/Facetime or equivalent.

Despite the lockdown in Victoria, we are still fully operational, with both manufacturing and dispatch continuing to operate inline with recommendations from both State and Federal authorities. Our Victorian based specification, technical and design department are also fully online and continue to be ready to work with you on your project design requirements.

SPEEDPANEL® response to COVID-19
RE: Building site visits, installation reviews and face to face meetings.

Speedpanel has resumed site visits, installation reviews and other critical face to face meetings.

In line with the current recommendations from both Federal and State authorities, we continue to comply with all guidelines and best practices outlined as far as social distancing practices and hygiene standards. We have also taken proactive steps to further protect the health and safety of all staff, through the introduction of new COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures.

Speedpanel is still strongly advocating limits on site visits, installation reviews and other critical face-to-face meetings, with the preference still being to conduct these via electronic means where possible.

SPEEDPANEL® response to COVID-19
RE: Building site visits, installation reviews and face to face meetings.

Speedpanel would like to give a further update on our continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically with regards to building site visits, installation reviews and/or other face-to-face meetings.

At this point in time, we continue to comply with the current advice from both Federal and State governments. As such, with the exception of critical needs, all travel, building site visitations and external face-to-face meetings remain suspended, and where possible should be conducted via electronic means. i.e. Phone/Skype/Zoom or equivalent.

Like others, we continue to closely monitor the situation on a daily basis and plan on resuming site visits, installation reviews and all other forms of face-to-face meetings once instructed by the relevant authorities.

We would like to reassure our clients, partners and suppliers that we remain fully operational, including our specification, technical and design departments, which are ready to work with you on your project design requirements.

SPEEDPANEL® response to COVID-19 – update

Speedpanel would like to give you an update of our continued response to the challenges bought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. We would also like to reassure our clients, partners and suppliers that we remain fully operational and will continue to be so until instructed otherwise by the relevant authorities.
Our specification, technical and design department also remain fully operational and are ready to work with you on your project design requirements.

During these challenging times, the health and safety of our team, partners and suppliers continue to be our absolute priority and we want to assure you that we are complying with both the State and Federal recommendations and restrictions.

Below is a summary of measures the business has implemented to date in response to the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Appropriate social distancing practices in line with current State and Federal regulations
  • Where practical staff working from home arrangements
  • Increased emphasis on improved personal hygiene in both our office and operational environments
  • Ensuring that all employees are fully aware of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 and appropriate actions/responses necessary should they, or someone they have had contact with develops symptoms
  • Daily contact with critical business partners and suppliers for production and shipment updates to ensure ongoing product availability
  • With the exception of any critical needs, ceased all business travel, site visitations, external face-to-face meetings. Where practical conduct these via electronic means. i.e. Phone/Skype/Zoom/Facetime or equivalent

SPEEDPANEL® site visits and meetings amid Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic

Like many others, we at Speedpanel recognise the significance of the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as well as the importance of playing our part to protect the health and wellbeing of our clients, partners and suppliers.
