A redevelopment of the HMAS Perth (I) Memorial facility, located at Riverside Road, East Fremantle, is underway. The final structure will serve as a solemn memorial, collocated with the Australian Navy Cadet Unit, Training Ship PERTH. This will be a Memorial of National Significance.
Speedpanel is honoured to play a pivotal role in the redevelopment of this significant memorial, donating approximately $10,000 in our fire rated and acoustic systems, which are integral to the construction of the memorial. This donation is facilitated through our partner, Colgan Industries, who serves as both the builder and Speedpanel installer for the project.
Once completed, the Memorial will commemorate the lives lost and those who served in one of the largest naval engagements of the Royal Australian Navy during World War II.
