It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Nathan (Nick) Scheuer, who died peacefully on the 30th of July, surrounded by loving family and
friends.

Nick was a vibrant, entertaining and deeply generous character – known for his cheeky sense of humour, love of cooking, and passion for enjoying life. He was truly one of a kind, whose presence uplifted the mood of every room he entered.

Professionally, Nick was one of the original founders of Speedpanel and played a pivotal role in shaping the business into what it is today. While his involvement in the day-to-day operations as Managing Director had lessened in recent years as he turned his attention to new ventures, his influence on the business and its people never wavered.

Nick’s legacy lives on not only in the foundations of Speedpanel, but in the
customer-focused, solutions-driven culture that remains deeply embedded in Speedpanel’s DNA.

Nick’s contributions extended well beyond Speedpanel. He was a proud advocate for innovation in the construction industry, and the impact it had on our environment and those working within it.

Speedpanel’s shareholders are honouring Nick’s succession plans with the formal appointment of Karen Hewett (Chief Financial Officer) and Lindsay Evans (General Manager) as Company Directors, ensuring the business continues to move forward with confidence and continuity.

Nick will be deeply missed – not only for what he built, but for the passion, warmth, and fun he brought to everything he did.
