Australian manufacturer of category-leading fire and acoustic rated panel-based systems, Speedpanel, is building on its commitment to innovation, product development and business improvement with the appointment of two new key team members.
Peter Lorenc has joined Speedpanel in the role of Marketing Manager, while Darby Hamour has come on board as a Business Development Manager.
These appointments come as the business enters its next phase of expansion and growth, thanks to the exciting Speedpanel 2.0 development and growing demand in various construction projects across the country. Many major projects around Australia rely on Speedpanel to speed up their building programs including the Melbourne Metro Tunnel project and Australia 108 in Melbourne, 300 George Street in Brisbane and the prestigious Crown Hotel resort in Sydney, to name a few.
Peter Lorenc joins Speedpanel after holding similar senior marketing roles at Chervon Group, Mangrove and Fantech. He brings a broad level of project, branding and campaign experience in technical product and services marketing.
Lorenc’s role at Speedpanel will include building on the company’s marketing and communications strategy, and promoting the product range across the construction industry. Lorenc will also provide important marketing support to the Speedpanel sales and product development teams.
“It’s wonderful to be part of this innovative, category-leading Australian owned and operated business,” says Lorenc. “Making building easier, faster and greener is why we are here and we’re excited about telling this story to the world.”
Darby Hamour’s appointment as Business Development Manager comes after fulfilling similar roles with leading construction manufacturers like HILTI and Dincel. A qualified mechanical engineer, he brings a wide range of experience in the development and diversification of business opportunities in the building construction sector.
Hamour will seek to identify opportunities to provide added value to Speedpanel’s existing clients as well as seek to build long-term relationships with new clients while building the company’s profile in the sector.
“I am excited to join a company with a very positive family culture,” says Hamour.
“Speedpanel is a fantastic product that offers the best solution for many applications. It is unique in that it answers many of the challenges facing construction projects, and I’m looking forward to being involved in those technical and design discussions.”
Speedpanel looks forward to the valuable contribution each will make to enhancing the company’s position as a market leader in fire and acoustic rated wall systems.
